The Village Hotel in Swansea has been boosted by some key appointments to their Leisure Club team.

Village00020[1]Joining the team in the ever-growing Leisure Club is Andrew Gilpin, the new Operations Manager, and Dawn Morgan, the new Membership Adviser, while Adam Mills, has been promoted to Master Personal Trainer.

“With these recruits we have put together a great team which can cater for all guests and members’ needs within the Leisure Club,” said Samantha Tomlinson, the Village Hotel’s Leisure Club manager.

“As we have more than 2,500 members we need an efficient and friendly team and Andrew, Dawn and Adam have added to that brilliantly.”

Andrew joins the Village Hotel after a wealth of experience within the leisure industry including a spell at Morriston Leisure Centre.

“I am in charge of the day-to-day operations within the Leisure Club. It’s very fast-paced but although I’m still learning the ropes I have support from a very friendly team. It’s been easy to fit in,” said Andrew.

Dawn moves from being a general receptionist to become a membership adviser.

“I absolutely love my new role – it’s more than just a gym and leisure facility – it’s a family,” said Dawn.

Adam’s promotion after experience at the Celtic Manor Resort following a time in the RAF as a PT instructor.

“Adam has worked with us for here for a while now but has been honoured the title of our master trainer due to his vast knowledge of exercise and nutrition and commitment to the club,” added Sam.
