GWLAD – Growing Workforces through Learning and Development
GWLAD is part of the Wales Institute for Work-based Learning in the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is supported by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government. Designed to meet the needs of businesses and third sector organisations in South West Wales GWLAD offer financial support with 70% funding for learning and development programmes.
Through its programmes, GWLAD improves workforce skills, resulting in measurable benefits to businesses performance. Staff will have the opportunity to develop and learn new skills, accept responsibility and increase confidence and ability to meet modern day challenges. All courses are developed with businesses at the forefront, where individuals will implement new learning into the workplace that leads to a positive business change.
Industry experienced tutors have strong links with both commercial and academic thought leaders to ensure that content and delivery is relevant, offering expertise in areas such as Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching, Finance, Project Management, HR, Digital Marketing and many more
