A leading solicitor will update North Wales businesses on changes to the living wage and the introduction of auto-enrolment at an event in Conwy.
Helen Watson, partner and head of employment law at Chester-based Aaron & Partners, will discuss the topical HR and employment law updates at a joint Institute of Directors (IoD) North Wales and Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) Cymru event.
The free seminar will also give delegates the chance to network with other businesses from the region.
Helen, who is also chair of IoD North Wales, has a wealth of experience in the legal industry and is an active member of the region’s business community.
A keen charity fundraiser, she completed a 200-mile cycle across North West India in 2013, and is a trustee of Claire House Children’s Hospice.
IoD North Wales committee member, and head of digital at Mold-based Outwrite PR, Anthony Bullick said:
“This event offers a fantastic opportunity to network and learn about HR and employment law updates affecting businesses.
“As a solicitor and leading member of our IoD branch, she is the ideal guest speaker for the seminar, which ACCA are kindly sponsoring.
“HR and employment law is ever-changing, but Helen’s expert advice will help the businesses in attendance stay fully compliant with new rules and regulations.”
