Creative Director Kevin Mansell-Abell has been supporting the work of the PTFA of Usk Primary, after being asked to judge and speak at their successful ‘Grow a Pound’ competition.

Built on the success of last year, Usk Primary have supported the enterprising nature of their students, by providing them with a £1 to take home over the easter holidays. All 220 students took part in the event, which tasked them with growing the pound, by means of making, buying and selling. After an exciting launch, the students as young as 4 and 5 took on the challenge – stimulating their enterprising skills and nurturing their business potential.

Last year the event saw the student turn £220 into over £3,000 – an incredible success rate, with this year set to be just as rewarding.
