Cricket is attracting a growing audience in Wales, with record attendances at Sophia Gardens and thousands of new supporters providing further evidence that the sport is broadening its appeal beyond its traditional fanbase.

Welsh Fire has recorded its strongest ticket sales since The Hundred began, including a record crowd for a women’s cricket match in Wales and the highest number of first-time attendees since the competition launched.
