Waterton Motor Group is gearing up for a new three-year partnership with the Cardiff Half Marathon, with the Welsh automotive group announced as the event's Official Vehicle Partner from 2027 to 2029.
It's a partnership that's already on the road, with Waterton Motor Group branded pacers set to hit the streets of Cardiff at this year's race on Sunday 4 October. They'll be helping runners chase down their target times as part of its ‘Driving Your PB' activation, while also providing this year's lead and timing car for the first time.
From 2027, the partnership will see Waterton Motor Group continue to provide the official lead and timing vehicles for the race to help lead thousands of runners around the iconic 13.1-mile course and continue to chase their PBs.
It builds on the existing relationship the group has with Run 4 Wales, supporting a number of events across the Run 4 Wales portfolio, including the CDF 10K, Barry Island 10K and Porthcawl 10K.

With more than 30,000 participants registered across the Cardiff Half Marathon weekend, the event has established itself as one of the biggest mass-participation sporting events in Wales.
The fast, flat course takes runners through the heart of the Welsh capital, passing some of Cardiff's most iconic landmarks before finishing in the city centre.
