Ranmore Fund Management has launched a sponsorship and donation matching campaign to help the Wales Senior Men's Hockey Team reach the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.
It is sponsoring the team and pledging to match every pound donated to the team's crowdfunding campaign until it closes, up to the target amount of £40,000.
Despite qualifying for the FIH Hockey World Cup for only the second time in the nation's history, Wales is aiming to raise £40,000 to help cover the significant costs of competing at the highest level of international hockey.
As one of the sport's smaller nations, the team relies on external fundraising to support everything from training camps and travel to accommodation, performance support and essential equipment as it prepares to take on the world's best in Belgium and the Netherlands this August.

“Sport plays a vital role in our communities and that's why Ranmore already sponsors 10 sports clubs in the UK and South Africa. When I heard, Hockey Wales was still trying to raise the money needed to compete at the World Cup, I wanted to do something that would encourage as many people as possible to get involved.
“Qualifying for one World Cup was a remarkable achievement. Qualifying for a second consecutive tournament shows this isn't a one-off success story. This is a team that has earned its place among the world's best, and hopefully together we can help give them the best possible opportunity to compete.”
