Wales’ largest procurement showcase will be in North Wales later this week.
The Business Wales Meet the Buyers Expo will have a focus on the Foundational Economy. The event, on Thursday October 16 at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, aims to offer businesses a gateway to billions of pounds in live contract opportunities.
The Llandudno Expo will enable businesses to connect directly with leading organisations offering hundreds of contract opportunities across multiple sectors, from construction and housing to healthcare and transport.
Unlike traditional networking, attendees will receive a curated list of buyers with opportunities most relevant to their business, with a view to ensuring meaningful conversations.
Attendees will be able to meet with major organisations like Transport for Wales, Castell Howell and NHS Shared Services Partnership alongside leading business support providers like Business Wales and Banc.
The free event includes:
- Keynote speakers from across Welsh industry and government
- Panel sessions with practical insights on winning work
- A Support Zone with one-to-one advice on bidding and procurement
The North Wales event follows an Expo in Swansea, which had more than 650 attendees. Among the feedback from the Swansea event was:
“An excellent idea, transformed into a really good event. I am sure the contacts I made will lead to my company finding new business.”
“Great event, made lots of valuable new contacts, well laid out and professional set-up. Will be attending next year.”
“It was beneficial to make good connections with other businesses as well as re-establish older connections”
