A free Job Fair is to be held in Rhyl on the 27th of September at 1891 Bar & Restaurant to showcase a wide variety of job opportunities that are available both locally, and nationally.
Over 40 employers will be exhibiting at the seaside venue, who will range from local to national organisations.
This latest Autumn Job Fair follows the three that have already been held so far this year, with one in Rhyl in January, another in Llangollen in March and the most recent in Ruthin at the end of June.
The last fair that was held in Rhyl saw over 250 attendees pass through the doors of the 1891 Restaurant & Bar at the Pavilion Theatre, a record-breaking number.
This event is organised by Denbighshire County Council’s Working Denbighshire Team, and will run from 10am until 4pm, allowing the residents of Rhyl and beyond to come and gain free access to over 50 employment opportunities available to them from a range of businesses and industries. Some of the employees who will be attending include nationally recognised names such as North Wales Police, The Armed Forces, Wynne Construction and Clwyd Alyn.
Denbighshire County Council’s Working Denbighshire service aims to coordinate support that helps people into work by removing barriers. Working with local businesses and organisations, the Working Denbighshire programme is committed to supporting people who live in Denbighshire to get into the world of work and/or further their skills with free training.
Rees Brown, Employer and Training Relationships Manager at Working Denbighshire, said:
“We are very pleased to see the return of Working Denbighshire’s Jobs Fair in Rhyl, as we have seen many success stories come out of this event, including employers finding candidates and residents finding work.
“We have a large variety of national and local employers who are actively trying to find candidates for a variety of positions, so I would encourage anyone in Denbighshire who is searching for a new job opportunity to attend this event and discover employment opportunities available to them.”

“Following on from the three jobs fairs already held this year, we are hoping that this latest one in Rhyl will follow the same trend as the last one that was held here, as we saw a record-breaking attendance.
“Job fairs are a great way for people to widen their horizons and discover a wide array of employment opportunities.
“There are a number of well-recognised businesses lined up to attend this event, so I would urge anyone who is looking for work, or a change of career to come down and attend.”

Working Denbighshire is part funded through the Welsh Government Communities for Work Plus Programme which supports those most disadvantaged in the labour market to overcome the barriers preventing them from gaining employment.
Working Denbighshire has received £3,529,632 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
