North Wales Law Firm Appoints Experienced Family Law Specialist

A growing North Wales law firm has appointed a new solicitor who has more than 20 years of experience helping families with their legal issues.

Family law expert, Jon Moriarty, has joined Conwy-based Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors to meet a “steady increase” in demand for its services across the North Wales region.

Jon, who joins the firm as a partner, is experienced at helping families deal with divorce and other legal matters, with particular expertise in financial matters during a divorce or separation, as well as arrangements concerning children.

He said:

“I have worked in North Wales ever since qualifying as a solicitor in 2000, and am delighted to join Lanyon Bowdler to help the firm continue its exciting growth in the area.

“In my role as a family solicitor, it is a privilege to be able to help clients through what is often an emotional and difficult time, enabling them to move towards the next chapter in their life.

“I am passionate about working towards amicable and constructive solutions for families who are going through a relationship breakdown, and am a proud member of Resolution, as well as being an accredited specialist family lawyer with them.”

Edward Nutting, head of Lanyon Bowdler’s Conwy office, said demand for legal support had continued to grow in recent years.

“Since opening our Conwy office in 2019, we have had to expand the team on a regular basis to meet growing demand and Jon is a valuable addition to the firm,” he said.

“He is well known and respected across North Wales, having worked in the area throughout his professional career, and is already proving to be popular with clients for his knowledge and experience.

“We are delighted to welcome him to Lanyon Bowdler.”
