Wales Transport Awards to Recognise Private Hire Firms in New Category

The Wales Transport Awards has added a new category to recognise Private Hire Operators.

Wales is home to thousands of Private Hire Operators of which are an integral part of the Welsh community, providing people up and down the country with more convenient travel.

Currently, there is no award in Wales recognising the outstanding achievements of those working within the Private Hire industry, therefore, this new award aims to recognise chauffeur and private hire operators that demonstrate excellent standards of Quality, Service and Innovation.

Liz Brookes, Founder of the awards says:

“Adding this category came in an effort to highlight those within the Private Hire industry here in Wales as now more than ever, we need to reflect on the outstanding work of all of those within the transport industry.”

Denise Lovering, Chair of Judges says:

“We are really pleased to add this category to this year’s awards as the Private Hire industry is such a huge part of the transport community, not only here in Wales but worldwide. We look forward to celebrating this industry in the awards later this year.”

For further information on the awards and all the categories available to enter, please visit the website HERE. Deadlines for applications is midnight on Friday 19th June 2020.

Winners will be announced at the gala celebration dinner on Friday 9th October 2020 at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
