Two free business shows are coming to Denbighshire, with an agenda featuring talks, interactive exhibits and networking opportunities.
Hosted by Cadwyn Clwyd’s Denbighshire Enterprise Network (DEN), the events will provide local businesses from the food, environment, tourism, green growth and technology sectors with an opportunity to showcase their work to the public and for the public to get to know the businesses growing on their doorstep.
The first event — titled ‘Food, Environment and Tourism’ — will take place on 26 February at White House Hotel, Rhuallt. Meanwhile, the second business show will take place at Rhuthin Castle Hotel on 12 March, themed around Green Growth and Technology.
Industry leaders will provide talks on both dates — including Jim Jones from Go North Wales; Gwen Davies from Dyffryn Vineyard and Daniel Thomas, Decarbonisation Consultant at Business Wales. There will also be panel discussions and opportunities to ask questions throughout both events.

Lowri Owain, Manager at Cadwyn Clwyd, said:
“Our recent series of DEN networking events and workshops across Denbighshire — on marketing, finance, sustainability and more — have given many start-ups and entrepreneurs the knowledge and confidence they needed to start their business journeys.
“Now, we’re setting the stage for these business owners to take things one step further and showcase themselves at our upcoming business shows — in front of industry leaders and members of the public.
“It’s been a pleasure to watch these businesses grow over recent months, and we look forward to seeing what connections they nurture during the business shows, and what they’ll go on to achieve in Denbighshire and beyond thereafter.”
DEN is an initiative by Cadwyn Clwyd — the social enterprise providing support to communities in north-east Wales — designed to support local Denbighshire businesses at every stage of their journey. Whether launching a start-up or growing an established enterprise, DEN provides the connections, knowledge and opportunities to help businesses thrive.
The DEN network forms part of a larger £2.1 million project to support Denbighshire businesses with business grants, broadband connectivity and networking — funded by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund.
