DLL Reaches GO Awards 2026 Finals Following Success of National UK Leisure Framework

DLL’s national UK Leisure Framework has been named as a finalist in the 2026 GO Awards, which celebrate smart and effective procurement initiatives.

The UK Leisure Framework which is managed by DLL and delivered by development partner Alliance Leisure, has been named as a finalist in the Collaborative Procurement Initiative category at the awards, being held in Liverpool. This category recognises the increasing importance of collaboration in public procurement and the benefits that can be realised by working together.

The Framework offers business solutions for major leisure projects including the design, refurbishment, construction and development of leisure centres, theatres, recreation facilities and sports facilities across the UK. Through the Framework, DLL is influencing national leisure agendas and helping local authorities, education providers, and public bodies deliver better outcomes for their communities.

John Leaver, Marketing & Frameworks Director, Alliance Leisure, said:

“We’ve got our fingers crossed for the awards night in Liverpool and being selected as a finalist is acknowledgement of the tremendous collaborative working our partners bring to every project. The UK Leisure Framework exists to transform the health and wellbeing of local communities across the UK, and the GO awards will help showcase the success that the Framework has had.”

Jamie Groves, Managing Director, DLL, said:

“Over recent years, the UK Leisure Framework has helped deliver 206 completed projects, totalling £313 million with a further £250 million of developments committed. These have included some fabulous transformations of sports facilities across the UK public sector. At DLL, we are very proud of the impact the Framework has had on the leisure industry and through its success, the opportunities it has brought to people across the UK, who are able to improve their health and wellbeing at these fantastic facilities. We are incredibly pleased to have been named as finalists at the GO Awards, particularly in light of the incredibly high standards and are looking forward to a fabulous evening.”
