A North Wales-based digital PR agency is celebrating 25 years in business this year and as part of its commemorations is bringing together charities and community groups from across North Wales and Cheshire to offer a free full-day PR and marketing conference.
The event, to be held on Thursday 26 September, will focus on how organisations can enhance skills in social media, photography and branding, as well as writing effective news stories and the role of PR linked to wider organisational objectives.
BBC Wales’ Bethan Williams will deliver a session on broadcast interviews as well as host a panel discussion featuring Anne Boyd, chief executive officer at Active Cheshire, Steve Stokes, PR manager at the Wales Air Ambulance, and Sally Moth from Moneypenny.
Attendees will also hear from a regional newspaper editor, photographer, and branding expert, as well as a North West-based charity that was highly commended for its use of social media at the North West Charity Awards.
Anthony Bullick, Outwrite PR managing director, said:
“Marketing and PR is often listed as a topic that charities would love to know more about to help them achieve their goals.
“We’re hoping that this free all-day conference will provide charities and community groups from across the region with valuable tips and advice.
“Spaces are limited and I would urge any organisation interested in attending to book now.”
Anne Boyd added:
“We’re really excited to be part of this event and looking at the line-up, charities and community groups across Cheshire and North Wales will be able to take a lot away from this event to implement in their own strategies.
“It’s fantastic Outwrite is holding this event and supporting these organisations from across our communities.”
The PR and marketing conference will be held at Moneypenny, Western Gateway, Wrexham, between 9.30am and 4pm on Thursday September 26.
