Research from the British Business Bank and Economic Intelligence Wales has looked for the first time at perceptions of SMEs around access to finance across different parts of Wales.
The Wales SME Access to Finance report also considers a comparison with Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Business News Wales spoke to Jess Phillips-Harris, the senior manager for Wales for British Business Bank, about the types of finance being accessed by SMEs, their appetite for additional funding, and what actions will be taken as a result of the findings.
