Welsh 3 Peaks for Tŷ Hafan Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the 2025 Welsh 3 Peaks challenge event in aid of Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice.

Open to teams of four walkers and one designated driver the event will take place on Saturday June 7 and will see participants cover 20.35 miles with a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m) to reach the summits of Eryri, Cadair Idris and Pen-Y-Fan within just 24 hours.

Registration costs £25 per team and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £800 per team, or £200 minimum per team member. Each participant will also receive a medal, T-shirt, hot food at the end of the challenge and fundraising support from the moment they sign up.

James Davies-Hale, Head of Fundraising for Tŷ Hafan, said:

“No parent ever imagines that their child’s life will be short. Sadly, this is the reality facing thousands of families in Wales. By taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks for Tŷ Hafan, you can make sure that no one in Wales lives their child’s short life alone.

“Our Welsh 3 Peaks event offers a particularly brilliant opportunity for some great team bonding, so it’s advisable to register quickly as places are allocated on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis. So now is the time to gather your team and sign up for what promises to be a challenging and unforgettable experience.

Daniel Blamires, Associate Director at Inspire Design Ltd, who took part in the 2024 Welsh 3 Peaks for Tŷ Hafan, said:

“The Welsh 3 Peaks is very well organised and supported by Tŷ Hafan. The climbs felt safe with plenty of marshals available to offer support. It was a pleasure to participate.”
