South Wales Housebuilder Launches £6,000 Giving Fund

By Built Environment · 13 Aug 2026 · 1 min read

A housebuilder has launched a scheme to support deserving community initiatives across South Wales.

Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, currently building at 12 developments across the region, has created a £6,000 fund to support multiple local groups, organisations and individuals and is now welcoming applications.

Sian Smith, Sales Director at Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, said:

“We’re proud to be launching our local giving fund with a £6,000 pot. This fund will allow us to support even more brilliant causes in across South Wales and play our part in creating and supporting thriving communities.

“We’re asking local groups, charities and volunteers to tell us exactly what would make a difference to them – whether that’s art supplies for creative workshops, outdoor gear for youth groups or plants for a community garden. By understanding their specific needs, we can offer meaningful support that helps them continue the great work they do.

“We’re excited to hear from people across South Wales and the surrounding areas and can’t wait to see the incredible projects this year’s fund will help bring to life.”

The scheme is now open and will close at midnight on Wednesday 30th September. For further details on how to apply, please email barrattredrowwalesfund@wpragency.co.uk.
