New Senior Planner Strengthens Boyer’s Wales and West Team

Leading planning and design consultancy Boyer, part of LRG, has strengthened its Wales and West team with the appointment of William Stephenson as Senior Planner.

A Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), William brings broad consultancy experience across the South West, with particular expertise in residential development.

He has advised on schemes ranging from smaller residential sites through to major strategic developments, across both greenfield and brownfield land. His experience also includes commercial and industrial development, retirement living, renewable energy, telecommunications and infrastructure projects.

William will work with Boyer’s growing Wales and West team, advising clients across the region and helping to progress development opportunities through all stages of the planning process.

Commenting on William’s appointment, Lawrence Turner, Director at Boyer, says:

“William brings exactly the sort of experience we want to add to the team. He has a strong residential background, from smaller sites through to major strategic schemes, but he has also built up useful experience across a range of other sectors.

“Just as importantly, he knows the South West and understands the planning issues our clients are dealing with. We’re continuing to grow our team and our client base across the South West, and William gives us additional experience and capacity to support that.”

William Stephenson, Senior Planner at Boyer, adds:

“After six months travelling in South East Asia, I came back wanting to take the next step in my career and take on more responsibility. Boyer appealed because it already has a strong presence in the region, but there is also a clear ambition to keep growing.

“I’m looking forward to getting involved in the team’s projects, working with existing clients and building new relationships across Wales and the West.”
