Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is hosting a supply chain engagement event to provide suppliers with early information about its forthcoming Minor Works Framework procurement opportunity.
The free event will take place at Blanco's Hotel & Restaurant in Port Talbot on Wednesday 2 September 2026, from 8.30am to 1pm.
It is aimed at Welsh-based SMEs, including local contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and other organisations interested in delivering construction, maintenance and minor works projects for the council through the new framework arrangement.
Attendees will receive information on:
- The proposed NPTCBC Minor Works Framework
- Construction and maintenance works likely to be included
- The procurement route, tender requirements and anticipated timescales
- Social value and community benefit expectations
- How to bid for opportunities through Sell2Wales
- Opportunities to network with council officers and potential delivery partners
- A question and answer session
The event is free to attend and is restricted to two delegates per business.
The project is supported by the Welsh Government through the UK Local Growth Fund in Wales, with the event delivered by Business Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
