Glamorgan County Cricket Club is the only Welsh first-class county cricket team, based at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Founded in 1888, they’ve won the County Championship three times and compete in all major domestic formats.


Known for their blue and yellow colours, Glamorgan is proud of its rich history and is dedicated to growing the game across Wales through its men’s, women’s and youth programmes.


Glamorgan Cricket Signs a New Two-Year Partnership with Hensol Castle Distillery


The South Wales based gin specialists have become the Club's ‘Official Gin Partner.'

Hensol Castle Distillery will have exclusive gin rights at all cricket and non-cricket events held at Sophia Gardens and supply the venue with a selection of their premium and standard gins, including their award-winning Hensol Castle premium range of gins and Benjamin Hall range.

Paul Beddoe,  HCD Sales & Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to partner with such an established sporting brand like Glamorgan Cricket and we look forward to being able to provide award-winning Welsh gins to both home and visiting spectators and guests this season”.

Hensol Castle Distillery is South Wales' first full scale gin distillery, visitor centre, gin school and bottling plant.

Located in the cellars of the Grade 1 listed Hensol Castle which is a place full of heritage and history and it is the inspiration for many of the spirit brands they have developed.
