About the speakers…

Dr Kerry Beynon, Partner at RDP Law

Kerry is head of RDP’s Commercial / Corporate Team. As a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience, she specialises in IP, IT and data protection / cyber security law. Kerry, a key influencer in her field, speaks internationally on the subjects of data protection and cyber security and has spoken recently at GISEC (the largest cyber security exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and Asia), at the European Cyber Security Week in France and to industry and government representatives at the British Embassy in Japan. Kerry is an active member of the South Wales Cyber Security Cluster and Cyber Wales.

Holly Heath, Solicitor and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice at RDP Law

Holly is an expert in SRA/FCA Governance Risk and Compliance Management, with particular focus on supporting SME’s in development and growth through sound regulatory advice and guidance. She has practiced within a number of areas of law including personal and commercial litigation, advocacy and insurance law. Holly has several cases to her name, the most notable being her role in the successful intervention in the Court of Appeal case regarding freedom of choice in insurance funded litigation. Since then she has found her niche in Governance Risk and Compliance.

Holly has extensive experience in working across the two regulatory disciplines of the SRA and FCA at markedly different stages in their evolution, in addition to being an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Additionally, Holly is a Consultant to the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives by writing and marking exam papers and conducting interviews with those on the verge of entering the profession as a qualified lawyer.

Damon Rands CISSP, CEO of Wolfberry Cyber Security

Damon is an experienced cyber security expert, with over 30 years in the Information technology industry. Having worked in development, support and installation he has helped companies across the United Kingdom build secure systems and implement best practices to protect their intellectual property and private information. Wolfberry now has a global reach, and Damon spends his time helping organisations defend themselves from the Cyber Threat.

Damon is a member of several advisory boards across education and government, helping shape the resilience and education standards for the nation.
