Welsh Business Clayton Power to Launch Improved Sustainability Power Source at Prestigious Show

Did you know that fleet vehicles – including vans and trucks used by utilities companies – can create more emissions doing work at the roadside than they do driving around?

This means that providing a clean onboard power supply is important for the planet – and for the health of workers.

Welsh company Clayton Power launched its Lithium Power Supply – LPS II – last year. And now it will be showcasing the product’s latest enhancements at the Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham’s NEC at the end of this month.

The LPS II is an all-in-one system that can be recharged from the mains, from solar and from the alternator – and it’s powerful enough to run everything from laptops and kettles through to angle grinders and pneumatic drills. And now it’s even more powerful and sustainable.

  • It can supply completely clean power for roadside and off-site work
  • Its lighter weight leads to reduced vehicle fuel consumption
  • And because the LPS II can be easily switched from vehicle to vehicle, it can keep on going when fleets are updated

Reusable, rechargeable from the sun – and helping big companies to hit their sustainability targets. What’s not to like?

Clayton Power’s UK commercial lead, Karl Jones says:

“We’re very proud of the LPS II. It’s compact – it’s an all-in-one unit that generates zero emissions. It’s lighter, so reduces a vehicle’s payload, especially when you take into account that by using it, companies don’t have to carry fuel and heavy generators around with them. And its lifespan can be greater than the vehicle it’s fitted in.

“We’re excited to be able to show off everything that’s new and improved about the LPS II at the Commercial Vehicle Show. It’s an important event and it’s a great place to see how the industry is making strides into the future.”
