We Sell Tyres is racing ahead with a fleet expansion, thanks to a new partnership with Vansdirect, facilitated by its Operations Manager, Dan Zelos.
Vansdirect successfully returned as sponsors to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) grid for the closing rounds of the 2024 season, with Zelos behind the wheel as he made his BTCC debut with Team Bristol Street Motors.
The Newport-based national online retailer, part of the UK’s fourth largest automotive retailer Vertu Motors plc, has supplied six new Vauxhall Movanos to We Sell Tyres, enhancing the company's operational capabilities across its bases in Worksop, Nottingham, Northampton, and Norwich.
We Sell Tyres is a leading national tyre wholesaler, providing a wide range of tyres to businesses across the UK. The new vehicles will be used to ensure timely and efficient delivery to its customers, maintaining the high standards of reliability and service that the company is known for.
The deal marks a deepening of the relationship between the two businesses, Dan Zelos commented:
“It’s fantastic that we have been able to utilise the partnership between EXCELR8 and Vansdirect to do a deal to purchase six Vauxhall Movanos that we can now use for our We Sell Tyres (Wholesale) business.
“As part of a national tyre wholesaler, we operate a huge number of vehicles, and it is crucial that they are as reliable as possible to ensure that we operate at the highest level at all times. Because of that, we are always looking to freshen up the fleet and with the success of this order, we will be looking to do more business with Vansdirect into 2025.”
Team Bristol Street Motors will be racing as Team VERTU for the 2025 BTCC season.
