A firm of chartered financial advisers in Swansea has secured a place on an elite listing of such firms published by the FTAdviser, part of the Financial Times, designed to showcase some of the best financial advisory firms in the UK.

Estate Capital, which manages more than £200 million in its own investment portfolios, is the only firm in Wales to be featured in FTAdviser’s Top 100 Financial Advisers list for 2018.

The list is dominated by large national corporations including stockbrokers, wealth management divisions of banks and insurance companies. It combines numerous criteria including level of qualifications, levels of new business, client satisfaction and range of investment strategies offered. Taking this range of data, it uses an algorithm to establish how different advice businesses perform.
