Rory Hutchings has joined Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ (HCR) Agriculture and Estates team in Cardiff as a Partner and Head of Agricultural Litigation.
Rory is a significant figure in the agricultural legal community, specifically for dispute resolution. The firm’s market-leading team are specialists in agriculture and rural land, and businesses across the country.

Rory’s specialisms include land disputes, rights of way, nuisance, common land, partnership disputes, contract disputes (in particular dairy contracts), judicial review, the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995. His clients include a variety of diverse farming businesses from dairy farms to agricultural cooperatives, certification organisations, agri shows and tourist enterprises.
Rory qualified in 1994 and has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience across the agriculture legal sector. He has strong links with NFU Cymru and is a member of the Institute of Agricultural Management, a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and a member of the United Kingdom Environmental Lawyers Association and the Property Litigation Association.
