International real estate advisor Savills, acting on behalf of a private client, has sold Terfyn Pella Caravan Park in Denbighshire, North Wales to Lyons Holiday Park Limited.
The firm already owns more than 22 parks across North Wales and Cumbria. The property was sold for an undisclosed sum.
Terfyn Pella Caravan Park, which is located between Rhyl and Prestatyn, comprises approximately five acres of level land. The park benefits from planning permission for 115 caravans and is currently developed with 108 single static caravan pitches, of which 106 are privately owned. Two pitches remain vacant, offering immediate scope for new placements.
Richard Prestwich, director in the leisure and trading team at Savills, said:
“We’re pleased to have completed the sale of Terfyn Pella Caravan Park in Prestatyn to Lyons Holiday Parks – two well-regarded parties in the sector. The park represents a rare and valuable opportunity to acquire a well-located and established holiday park on the North Wales coast, an area that continues to see strong demand for leisure and tourism.”
Lyons Holiday Parks – a family-run business with a history dating back to 1924 – now owns and operates over a dozen parks across North Wales and Cumbria.
