The Port of Milford Haven has announced the availability of its fully operational dry dock from September 2025.
Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire within one of the UK’s deepest natural harbours, the Milford Haven dry dock is ideally positioned to support Wales’ growing marine and renewable energy sectors, the Port said.
It added that with the region undergoing a major energy expansion, the facility offers an important base for vessel maintenance, refits, and marine engineering and is well-suited for companies operating across commercial shipping, offshore energy, and marine fabrication.
The dry dock can accommodate vessels up to 70 metres in length and 19 metres in beam, with a control depth of 4.5 metres. It is equipped with essential services, including on-site power, water, and waste disposal, as well as adjoining workshop units and office space. The secure site is monitored 24/7 and lies within close proximity to chandlery services, a fuel berth, and local amenities.
Located just off the A4076 and near Milford Haven train station, the dry dock benefits from excellent transport connections and sits within a well-established marine cluster with strong links to both commercial and leisure sectors. Rental terms are flexible, with both short- and long-term hire options available.
As the Celtic Sea prepares for large-scale offshore renewable developments, Milford Haven’s dry dock is a timely and valuable asset for businesses looking to scale up their operations, said the Port.
The Port of Milford Haven encourages interested parties to get in touch with its Commercial Property team to arrange a site visit or discuss further details.
