Hundreds Register for New Homes in Rossett

More than 500 people have registered interest in new homes being built in Rossett.

Building work at Trevalyn Place on Rossett Road is progressing well, with Castle Green Homes preparing to release the first homes for sale this summer.

Sales director Sian Pitt said:

“The volume of enquiries we’ve received from people looking for a new home in Rossett reflects our research into the local market. There’s a high demand for homes in Rossett and at Trevalyn Place we’re addressing that need by building a good mix of aspirational yet functional homes. In response to the number of enquiries we’ve received, we’ll soon be releasing the first homes for sale off plan.

“There’s already the option to take virtual tours inside the homes we’re building via the website, with the ability to view furnished or unfurnished.”

The land Castle Green is building on is allocated for housing in the Local Development Plan. Around 11 acres of the overall 15-acre site will be developed, with mature landscaping around the boundary retained and pockets of public open space throughout the new neighbourhood.

Trevalyn Place will offer 99 private sale properties, including a mix of three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. The development will also include 33 affordable homes.

Community investment agreed during the planning process includes local schools sharing around £900,000, with the funding to be distributed via the local authority.
