Digital marketing agency Spindogs has confirmed that Gareth Lynn has joined the Board of the £3.1 million business as non-executive Finance Director.

A founding director of KTS Owens Thomas, Gareth grew the accountancy firm significantly over 27 years to become one of Wales largest and leading professional services firms. The firm was acquired by the Cogital Group, one of Europe’s fastest growing professional services groups in April 2017.

Led by Managing Director Liam Giles, the Board of Spindogs includes Operations Director David Morgan and Direct and Digital Marketing Director Daniel Lewis along with Director of Client Services Claire Swindell and Peter Johnson as Technical Director.

With growth expected to continue at 20% this year, Spindogs now employs 48 highly skilled digital specialists with a further five roles currently available. With offices in Cardiff and Oxford, clients include Hyundai, University of Oxford, Cardiff Airport and Coffee #1. Cardiff University and Thomas Carroll are also clients of Spindogs.

Managing Director Liam Giles said:

“A series of new contract wins coupled with our recent acquisitions of Unified and Nuance and Fathom means that our business model and offering has evolved significantly in the last two years.

“The breadth and depth of Gareth’s commercial experience will add real value to our Board which includes some of the most talented professionals in the industry. Together, we now have the expertise and commitment required to drive further growth by developing new income streams whilst implementing sustainable and efficient processes to effectively manage business performance. I’m very proud to be leading our business at such an exciting time for us all.”

Gareth Lynn added:

“Spindogs is an ambitious, talented and dynamic business that has done incredibly well yet still has great potential for further growth. I’ve been particularly impressed by the calibre of the management team and look forward to working with them to achieve their full potential.”
