Four Cymru Joins Forces with Wales Netball

Wales Netball has appointed Four Cymru to develop and deliver a new, audience-led communications strategy designed to strengthen engagement, improve clarity and support the long-term growth of netball from grassroots to elite level across Wales.

Part of the wider Four Agency Worldwide group, Four Cymru brings expertise spanning PR, marketing, digital and creative services, operating across the UK and internationally.

The work will focus on helping Wales Netball shape and communicate its Ymladd 2030 strategy during its 80th year, engaging with its diverse audiences from players and members, volunteers and parents, to fans, schools, partners and government stakeholders ensuring the right messages reach the right people, at the right time.

Alongside this, Four Cymru will raise the profile of the Welsh Feathers as they approach key international fixtures that include the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer and the World Cup Qualifiers for Sydney 2027 this September.

By placing accessibility, clarity, celebration and pride in Wales at the heart of communications, the work will help Wales Netball celebrate the people who make the sport possible, showcase success at every level and spotlight the pathways into participation, fandom and future careers.

Sarah Boswell, Chief Executive, Wales Netball, said:

“Wales Netball is undergoing considerable change at present as we shape our Ymladd 2030 vision. Working closely with Four Cymru will give us the tools to be more focused, more consistent and more impactful in how we tell our story and support the growth of netball in Wales.”

Amelia Stevens, Four Cymru’s managing director, added:

“We’re very proud to be working with Wales Netball. As a netball player, supporting the sport in Wales is something that’s particularly close to my heart.

“Our initial focus has been on creating a practical, audience-first strategy that supports day-to-day communications while also helping Wales Netball achieve their long-term ambitions for participation, performance and pride. With the Welsh Feathers taking the stage at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this summer, we’re looking forward to leveraging this moment to drive interest and participation in the game, supporting Wales Netball’s continued development at grassroots, community and elite levels. So keep an eye out for Wales Netball in communities across Wales.”
