Excel Civil Enforcement has been announced as the headline sponsor of the BPA’s Parking and Transport Wales conference.

The British Parking Association represents the UK parking and traffic management profession. The association has in excess of 750 corporate members and these include local government, commercial providers and parking system operators, as well as other interested parties.

The Parking and Transport Wales Conference is coming up on March 18th, 2020 at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff.  The keynote speaker is Shane Williams, a former Wales international rugby union player. The programme promises an engaging day for attendees.

The agenda covers blue badge enforcement and how fraud and misuse can be tackled. This will be a discussion led by Steve Goodall with a case study from his work at Derby Council.

The rest of the agenda covers issues such as the role of parking and transport, renewable energy, the enforcement of moving traffic violations and the practicalities involved with it.

The BPA is very much looking to the future and the agenda reflects both the present issues and those that look set to dominate conversations going forward.

Laura Anne Smith, National Account & Business Development Manager at Excel commented

“For us, sponsoring the BPA in Wales makes total sense.  We work closely with many Welsh local authorities and we’re seen as a trusted partner for our bilingual service delivery in Wales. Excel have actively supported the BPA’s Parking & Transport Wales group since it was formed in 2008 so we are very much looking forward to the conference in March”
