Day's Motor Group is officially celebrating its 100th birthday.
Founded in Swansea in 1926 by Charles Edward Manton Day, what began as a small local garage employing just eight people has grown into Day's Motor Group. It employs more than 500 people and continues to serve customers across South and West Wales through its vehicle retail, fleet, rental and finance operations.
Now led by CEO and Managing Director Russell Day, alongside Chairman Graham Day and Director Jill Day, the business remains privately owned by the Day family, making it one of the longest-established family-run businesses in Wales.
The centenary celebrations provide an opportunity to reflect on a remarkable journey that has seen Day's evolve from a Singer dealership on St Helen's Road to a modern automotive group representing leading manufacturers while embracing the future of mobility, vehicle leasing and rental solutions.
Russell Day, CEO and Managing Director of Day's Motor Group, said:

The centenary celebrations form part of the company's “A Century of Moving Forward” campaign.
