Staff at Constructaquote.com, part of Moorhouse Group Ltd, have been busy bunnies in the run up to Easter with visits to two local homes for the elderly, a donation of brand new toys to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital, and a £1,000 donation to Cardiff University as part of a Easter community charity drive by the top 100 insurance brokerage.

Visits to Parklands Care Home and Abbermill Care Home in Caerphilly proved a fun day out for colleagues who chatted to elderly residents and handed out 70 Easter eggs with money raised by staff at constructaquote.com.

Bags of brand new toys worth £1,500 have also been delivered to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and a £1,000 donation was awarded to Cardiff University’s European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute by Constructaquote.com CEO Lyndon Wood.

Mr. Wood, CEO, Constructaquote.com, said:

“As a local business it is so important for us to play a positive role and to interact and help residents and organizations in our community and the upcoming Easter holiday is great time to think of others and to put them first.

As the CEO of Moorhouse Group and constructaquote.com I feel we have a real responsibility to give back to our community when we are able. It is all about how you make others feel and not about how it makes you feel that is important,” he said.
