Cardiff based Credas Technologies, A Dye and Durham Solution and leader in identity verification technology, has expanded its customer base by 40% in the past year, as the company celebrates running compliance checks on over four million individuals in 2024, with that number growing each month.
Credas, which was launched in 2016, runs over 35,000 compliance checks a day, amounting to checks on over four million individuals a year. In the UK’s residential housing industry alone, over half (52%) of transactions now use Credas to undertake due diligence checks, either directly or via Credas’ partner network. This has led to Credas’ exceeding financial forecasts by 60% in 2024.
Over the past year, Credas has launched a new KYB-2-KYC service and released Credas+, its compliance remediation service. Over 70% of Credas’ customers have taken up the service, with Credas customers including Connells Group, EY, Gordons Property Lawyers, and Co-op.
2025 will see Credas expand its offering into South Africa, Australia and Ireland, with plans for further territories in the future. This will bring the Credas Connect platform to new regions, in lockstep with its owners Dye & Durham.
Tim Barnett, CEO at Credas Technologies, commented:
“I am enormously proud of the high-performance unit we have built together at Credas, especially as we reflect on the extraordinary financial year we’ve had. This high-performance culture is based on a foundation of clear shared values, and 2025 will see continued growth, new products, and team expansion.”
Over the past 12 months, Credas became the first IDSP in the UK to achieve the highest certification standard as part of the UK Government’s Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework. The company was also recognised as Fintech Company of the year at the Fintech Awards, alongside a number of our staff recognised for their contribution to the sector.
