Welsh-founded sustainable technology company Novira has brought its reusable technology to the first clubs in the Novira Cymru Leagues, with Colwyn Bay Football Club and CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 FC becoming the first clubs to introduce Novira's intelliPour and intelliBin solutions.
The official launch at Bangor City Stadium saw supporters experience intelliPour in action as CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 FC hosted CPD Y Rhyl 1879 in the Novira Cymru North. The rollout then continued into the Cymru Premier, with intelliPour now live at Colwyn Bay Football Club following their 2-1 victory over Connah's Quay Nomads Football Club on Saturday 12 September.
The rollout is part of Novira's partnership with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), following its appointment as Official Title Partner of the Cymru Leagues for the 2026/27 season and beyond. The partnership sees Wales' three domestic competitions become the Novira Cymru Premier, Novira Cymru North and Novira Cymru South, while providing an opportunity to apply Novira's technology within Welsh football and support the FAW and its clubs in turning sustainability ambitions into practical, measurable action.
Novira's technology ecosystem connects intelliPour and intelliBin to support the move from single-use to reusable packaging. intelliPour provides high-speed, self-serve beverage dispensing, cashless transactions, Perfect Serve Technology, hygienic service and data analytics, while intelliBin provides a digital deposit return system for reusable cups.
The system also goes beyond packaging. intelliBin uses innovative AI camera technology to analyse returned containers and provide insights into food and drink wastage, helping organisations understand what is being wasted and identify opportunities to reduce waste and operational costs.
By connecting dispensing, payment, reusable cup deposits, returns and data, Novira's technology helps organisations keep reusable containers in circulation for longer, reduce reliance on single-use packaging and gain greater visibility of their operations.
