The Federation of Small Businesses are urging SMEs to participate in a new survey asking about their experiences of accessing business support services.
The survey asks businesses about accessing services including advice on skills, export support, financial advice, support with writing tenders and enhancing their digital capacity.
Ben Cottam, Head of Wales at the Federation of Small Businesses, said:
“An effective business support landscape which provides small and medium businesses with access to vital resources and guidance is key to creating the right conditions for SMEs to thrive.
“The Federation of Small Businesses in Wales want to hear about Welsh businesses’ experiences of accessing support services to help us identify what’s working well and where there may be gaps.
“This is particularly important in the context of the on-going question about whether the Shared Prosperity Fund will be devolved to Wales, with FSB long-advocating for its devolution in order to support economic development by boosting business support.
“Businesses who take part in this crucial survey will help FSB advocate for improvements and shape the future of business support in Wales to better meet their needs. In turn, this will drive SME prosperity and growth.”
The survey should take about five-10 minutes. All individual responses are completely confidential and will only be used for research purposes.
