Showcasing the Best of Welsh Business

Yoello Announced as the Top Growing FinTech Company in the UK

The Cardiff based fintech Yoello has been awarded with Tech Nation’s Rising Star 3.0 Fintech Sector Award.

Joining a prestigious list of Tech Nation alumni including companies such as Monzo, Revolut, Just Eat and Deliveroo, Yoello has been recognised for its rapid growth and for pivoting to support businesses during the pandemic.

Since launching its mobile ordering product in July last year, Yoello has successfully won every award the company has been nominated for so far; this includes the Wales Start-Up Awards Fintech of the Year 2020 and the Cardiff Business Awards Technology Business of the Year 2020.

The fintech was initially announced as a regional winner for the Rising Stars 3.0 in December, the company went on to be shortlisted as a national finalist amongst 20 up-and-coming technology businesses following a well received business pitch by Yoello’s Founder and CEO Sina Yamani. The pitch was delivered to a panel of respected judges from the likes of Google and GP Bullhound.

Now in its third year, the Tech Nation Rising Stars programme is the only national competition for innovative, early-stage tech companies – designed to showcase the best in the country and to support UK technology businesses on their growth journey.

On Thursday 25th February 2021, it was announced that Yoello was the Rising Star 3.0 Fintech Sector Award winner. Sina Yamani says,

“I am absolutely over the moon that we have been recognised as the UK’s stand out rising star fintech by Tech Nation. We are honoured to be recognised by such a prestigious programme, and it reflects just how far along Yoello has come in a short space of time.

This award, and the accompanying placement on Tech Nation’s acclaimed FinTech growth programme, is going to open up some really great opportunities for us as we continue to grow this year.”

Yoello supports thousands of hospitality businesses across the UK with it’s leading order & pay technology. The company recently announced it’s successful expansion into the USA and Australia with plans to also continue its growth this year into Europe.

“This Tech Nation award is perfectly timed as we have already begun our international expansion and are now preparing our open banking product for launch soon this year. We have high ambitions for Yoello in 2021 and the whole team are really excited to take the company to the next level!”
