Local and national businesses are enjoying a brand-new suite of benefits in the first year of corporate memberships at Theatr Clwyd, launched by the theatre in anticipation of their significant capital redevelopment.

New members can choose a tier to suit them and their budgets, ranging from £500 to £5,000, getting access to tickets, exclusive events, behind-the-scenes experiences, event hosting plus advertising opportunities, as well as the unique opportunity to go on site as the construction works unfold, and layers of the new building are revealed.

Over the last year the venue has had nine businesses join across the tiered scheme, with four currently in the process. These businesses join a wide range of other members including CBI Insurance, Leonard Curtis, Azets, Gap Personnel, Hope Mountain Retreat, Insight 6, Thursday's Child Coaching & Consulting, Aaron & Partners, Bad Wolf and Chilly Cow.

The Beaufort Park Hotel is a Gold Member and early adopter of the scheme. Earlier this month Theatr Clwyd Board member, Siobhan Jones, presented General Manager, Mark Small, with their ‘investor in the local community' certificate, honouring the commitment they have made with their support, enabling engagement work to continue and grow.

Mark Small said:

“We feel it's important to invest in our local attractions and community. Theatr Clwyd embodies both of these with a strong heart. We want to show support to the theatre, and we understand that their redevelopment will be bringing a host of new visitors to the area. In exchange for our support, via membership, we appreciate the trade we get from the theatre and long may that continue!”

Theatr Clwyd Board Member Siobhan Jones said:

“We’re so enthused by the interest from corporate organisations looking to connect with Theatr Clwyd. Our membership schemes offer incredible benefits that will entertain current clients, potential clients and staff whilst delivering significant impact for their investment in our journey. I enjoy meeting all our corporate members, particularly at such a busy time for the theatre as its future takes shape.”

Business Breakfasts hosted at Theatr Clwyd are a great way to find out more about Corporate Memberships as well as networking with other businesses from North Wales and the Northwest. In previous breakfasts Theatr Clwyd has shared an update on plans and engagement activity, as well as hosted guest speakers including Alwen Williams Portfolio Director, Ambition North Wales and Joanna Swash, CEO of Moneypenny.

The next breakfast takes place on 18 May with Lawrence Wood (Principal at Coleg Llandrillo – the largest FE provider in Wales) and Professor Maria Hinfelaar ( BA, MA, PGCE, PhD, FLSW, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive at Wrexham Glyndŵr University) confirmed to speak. Please get in touch to book your place as availability is limited.
