Welcome to our countdown to the launch of Rural Economy Wales – A new dedicated news channel for the rural economy in Wales.

As part of our launch campaign every few days we will be reliving the Royal Welsh Experience through a number of spontaneous interviews. In total we spoke with over 30 business and individuals at this years 100th Royal Welsh Show – arguably one the best shows in its illustrious history.

Rural Economy Wales will launch on 7th October 2019.

The new channel will cover all the latest developments across the sector and provide an invaluable information resource for any individual or organisation working within the sector.

Regular expert columnists, podcasts, an industry newsletter and events are just some of the features that are set to hit the desks of leaders of this transforming industry.

First off we have a series of interviews with one of the main sponsors of this years show – NatWest Cymru

Sharon Smith of Wild Welsh Wool tells us about her Welsh wool business.

Roddy McLean, NatWest Head of Agriculture joined us to discuss the opportunities and threats for the agriculture sector.
