The Royal Mint Appoints Two New Non-Executive Directors

The Royal Mint has strengthened its board with the appointment of two highly experienced non-executive directors.

The appointments of Anne Baldock as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, and Mark Tentori as Chair of the Audit Committee take effect immediately, as The Royal Mint continues its strategic business transformation.

Anne Baldock brings extensive expertise in governance and infrastructure finance, having served as Global Head of Projects, Energy and Infrastructure at Allen & Overy LLP for over two decades. She currently holds several prestigious non-executive roles, including Senior Independent Director positions at Pantheon Infrastructure plc and East West Railways Limited, and Independent Non-Executive Director at Kier Group PLC.

Mark Tentori joins the board with a distinguished career as a chief financial officer across multiple private equity-backed businesses, including roles at LINPAC Group, United Coffee, and Deb Group. He has extensive experience leading financial transformation, managing complex mergers and acquisitions, and driving operational performance improvements.

Currently serving as a member of the Duchy of Lancaster’s Finance Committee and having recently stepped down as Senior Independent Director at IG Design Group plc, Mark brings significant expertise in manufacturing, international business operations, and financial governance.

Chris Walton, Chair of the Board of The Royal Mint, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Anne and Mark to our board.

“Their expertise and fresh perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to transform The Royal Mint for a more sustainable future.”
