The Media Angel, a Penarth based advertising agency have been shortlisted in the International Drum Out of Home Awards 2019. Alongside just three other finalists in the ‘Small Budget’ category for their work with Swansea University. This category sought campaigns which had achieved impressive outcomes on a small budget.

The International Drum Out of Home Awards look to recognise those who have produced the most creative and effective out-of-home advertising work over the past year. Open to advertising agencies, in-house marketing teams, design consultancies, digital agencies, PR companies and integrated agencies, The Media Angel are proud to represent Wales against some of world’s largest brands and agencies.

The Drum Out of Home Awards are considered to be one of the industry’s most sought after accolades and have many prestigious judges such as Jo Fox, Marketing Director for Sky Entertainment, Charlotte Emery, Global Brand and Marketing Manager for William Hill and Martin Corke, Chief Marketing Officer for Clear Channel.

The Media Angel are nominated alongside UKTV for their work on Dad’s Army, and McCann Health London for their campaign for OCO Opticians. Other finalists include Tesco, Huawei, ITV, Carlsberg and Starbucks.

For Swansea University’s College of Engineering, we created a highly-targeted campaign utilising outdoor media. Across the targeted locations, the College saw an incredible increase of 98% in admissions when compared to 2018 results.

Alison Debono, Director of The Media Angel has said

“We are so proud to be nominated alongside such prestigious brands at these International Marketing Awards. This is a fantastic accolade for The Media Angel and the work we have done with Swansea University”

The awards ceremony is being held on the 21st November at The Emirates stadium in London.
