MKM Building Supplies in Llandudno Junction is celebrating another year of making a positive impact across North Wales, with the branch team supporting a range of community projects, local organisations and charitable initiatives that benefit people across the region.
As an independently led branch, MKM Llandudno Junction continues to invest in projects that make a difference, reflecting the business's long-standing commitment to the area where its customers and colleagues live and work.
Over the past few years, the branch has supported Bangor City FC, Junction FC Juniors, Menai Bridge Juniors, Colwyn Bay Bombers U7s, Abergele Juniors and Mochdre Knights through sponsorships, kit donations and tournament support. The team has also sponsored Hybrid Games and supported annual competitions at Deganwy Bowling Club, Penmaenmawr Bowling Club and the Llanfairfechan Annual Golf Tournament.
Away from sport, the branch supplied materials to Colwyn Bay Men's Shed, helping to deliver community projects and support men's mental health initiatives. Materials were also provided to create a comfort room on the cancer ward at Bodelwyddan Hospital and a sensory area at Deganwy Primary School.
The team also continues to support charitable causes, including the RNLI Llandudno 5K Run, where colleagues help present medals, and the Air Ambulance Tour de Mon cycle ride, recognising the vital work of the Wales Air Ambulance service.

Since opening as an MKM branch in April 2021, following MKM Building Supplies' acquisition of long-established local merchant Richard Williams (Deganwy) Limited, MKM Llandudno Junction has built on the business's strong community roots.
