The North Wales Business Network is preparing to celebrate a major milestone this November, marking its 600th event with a special morning of business networking, live entertainment and fundraising for North West Cancer Research.
The celebration will take place on Friday 13 November 2026, from 10am at The Mulberry in Conwy, bringing together businesses, members, guests and friends of the network for a special event recognising its long-standing contribution to the North Wales business community.
Adding a touch of musical nostalgia to the occasion, Han & Fran, finalists on Britain’s Got Talent, will perform their popular ABBA tribute, inviting guests to sing along to some of the most iconic hits of the 1970s. Guests are also encouraged to embrace the occasion with 1970s fancy dress, with a prize for the best-dressed attendee. Sparkle and bling are very much encouraged!
The morning will include complimentary tea, coffee and treats, birthday cake, live entertainment, stands showcasing local businesses, and a raffle and auction to raise funds for North West Cancer Research.
600 events bringing North Wales businesses together
Reaching 600 events represents a significant milestone for The North Wales Business Network, which has built its reputation on bringing businesses together, building relationships and creating opportunities across the region.
Founded by Nina Sardar, the network has spent 16 years helping businesses develop valuable relationships, generate new opportunities, share knowledge and build friendships that extend far beyond the meeting room.
The 600th event will celebrate not only the network’s achievements but also the people, businesses and supporters who have helped shape its journey.
Nina Sardar, Founder of the North Wales Business Network, said:
“Reaching our 600th event is an incredible milestone, and one I’m immensely proud of. Every event represents people coming together, relationships being built, opportunities being created and businesses supporting one another.
“Business networking has always been about much more than exchanging business cards. It’s about supporting individuals, building trust, developing meaningful relationships and creating an environment where businesses can grow and succeed together.
“This celebration is for everyone who has been part of our journey over the years. We wanted to mark the occasion in a way that reflects who we are as a network — bringing people together, having fun, supporting local businesses and giving back to our community.
“And what better way to celebrate than with an ABBA tribute, birthday cake and a little 1970s sparkle, while raising money for such an important cause?”
Supporting local businesses and a worthwhile cause
Alongside the entertainment and celebrations, the event will provide opportunities for local businesses to showcase their products and services.
A limited number of business stand spaces will be available for a minimum donation of £30 to North West Cancer Research. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, giving businesses the opportunity to promote their offerings while supporting cancer research.
The raffle and auction will also contribute to fundraising efforts for North West Cancer Research, an organisation dedicated to advancing cancer research for the benefit of people across North West England and North Wales.
The fundraising element reflects the network’s continuing commitment to supporting charitable causes alongside its work to strengthen the regional business community.
Everyone is welcome
The 600th event is open to anyone who wants to support a worthwhile cause. Tickets are £10 and include complimentary tea/coffee, cake and treats plus £5 from each ticket is going to the charity.
