Monmouthshire Care Home, Foxhunters Care Community in Abergavenny, has been selected as one of four finalists for the Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Awards 2020.
The prestigious award recognises excellence in care homes across the country.
Finalists were handpicked following a UK-wide tour of luxury care homes, with judges taking into consideration the design, innovation, interior and facilities of the homes.
Judges were shown around the home, exploring the fantastic facilities which include a cinema, bar, coffee shop, gym and hairdressing salon, designed to improve the living standards for residents and create a space where staff can provide quality care effectively.
The award ceremony will take place at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square on October 3rd, with the winners being announced on the night.
Both winners and finalists will feature in the prestigious Luxury Care Home Guide, due to be published next year.
CEO of Dormy Care Communities, Helen Davies-Parsons, is delighted that their flagship home has been selected as a contender for this esteemed award.
“We are honoured to have been chosen as finalists for the Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Awards!”, said Helen.
“A lot of work has gone into creating a beautiful home for older ladies and gentlemen to live in.
“Our vision has always been to make Foxhunters a place where residents can feel truly supported and live their lives to the full, so to receive this nomination is truly gratifying.”
