Global HR provider, Mauve Group, has been awarded HR Tech Provider of the Year at the Personnel Today Awards, for its innovative people-centred technology.
Founded by Welsh CEO Ann Ellis in 1996, global HR and employment solutions provider Mauve Group has won a major award, spotlighting the power of people-centred tech and services from Wales and beyond.
Industry judges recognised Mauve for its approach to combining technology with human expertise, a model that clients say is increasingly valued as businesses expand internationally.
People and Culture Director, Chris Williams, who attended the awards in London, said:
“When organisations grow internationally and bring on new teams, the key is making sure that every decision is fair, compliant, and right for the people involved. This award recognises the hard work our teams put in every day to help businesses navigate the complexities of employing people across borders.
“The win highlights a broader shift in how organisations approach HR technology, particularly as factors like rising employment costs, regulatory complexity and skills shortages mean there is greater emphasis on workforce strategy as a driver of growth”.
Mauve Group supports organisations in more than 150 countries with HR, compliance and employment solutions. To meet global workforce needs, Mauve developed Mauve Insight, a cloud-based platform that centralises employment documentation, onboarding, payroll, timesheets and benefits across borders.
While the platform includes automated features such as an AI-assisted help function, Mauve has retained a people-led model, ensuring HR and compliance experts support clients with complex employment decisions.
Ann Ellis, Co-Founder and CEO of Mauve Group, said:
“Winning HR Tech Provider of the Year is a really proud moment for Mauve, especially as we approach three decades in business. We started by sending our first invoice from Wales, and now we’re supporting organisations across more than 150 countries.
“This award reflects the work we’ve done to build people-led solutions that genuinely help businesses grow internationally, while keeping compliance and exemplary employee experience front of mind.
“For Welsh SMEs and scale-ups looking to expand globally, it’s a reminder that you can compete on the world stage without compromising your values or your approach to people. That’s been at the heart of everything we do at Mauve from day one, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that recognised”.
