Three new recruits have joined digital marketing and magazine specialists Target as the business continues to extend its reach throughout Torfaen, Newport, Caerphilly and Merthyr Tydfil.

Target is owned and managed by Managing Director Kris May. He opened his first office at Mamhilad Park Estate in December 2021 but has now relocated to larger 900 sq ft offices on the popular business park near Pontypool to accommodate for the growth of the team.

Featuring free advertising space for local charities, the Target magazine is a free community publication that is delivered via the Royal Mail to thousands of homes each month across Torfaen, Newport and Caerphilly. The company now also offers outdoor digital screen marketing services for advertising purposes and will be launching a new magazine for Merthyr Tydfil in March 2022.

Shannon Davies and Oliver Eddolls have both joined the team as Account Managers while Rachael Sale has taken on the position of Office Manager. A further two new jobs will be created this year.

Managing Director Kris May said:

As a business start-up, we took a small office at Mamhilad Park Estate in December 2021. Two months on and we’ve already outgrown the space so we’ve now relocated to larger offices on the business park. It’s been great to have that flexibility as it has meant that we didn’t need to over-commit to begin with.

“We also enjoy a good working relationship with other occupiers on-site with many of our neighbours having become customers. With the recruitment of the new team, we’re now in a strong position to scale-up and expand our services with the launch of our digital marketing offering while continuing to capitalise on the demand for traditional print publications.

Peter Downes is Operations Manager for Johnsey Estates, owners of Mamhilad Park Estate. He said:

“Kris and his team at Target connect businesses with their communities by both traditional print and digital communication. They are one of a number of businesses that are thriving here at Mamhilad and we’re pleased that we have been able to support their growth by providing flexible and affordable office space that is right for them.”
