Lidl is due to open its new store on the High Street in Connah’s Quay on Thursday 5th December 2024.
The store will replace its existing store in Queensferry, which has served the community for nearly three decades.
To mark the occasion there will be a festive carol service and ribbon-cutting ceremony, with pupils from the local Ysgol Bryn Deva Primary School taking part.
The new store, open 8am–10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am–4pm on Sundays, is 25% larger with a sales area of 1,256m².
The multi-million-pound investment has also created a handful of new jobs, whilst colleagues from the old store will transfer to the new location.
