Leading Welsh Period Care Brand Wins Sustainable Business Award of the Year

Cardiff-based company, TOTM won the Sustainable Business Award of the Year at The 2022 British Business Awards last month, celebrating the brand’s range of planet-friendly period care and its commitment to ethicality and sustainability.

TOTM recently received B Corp™ status, recognising the brand’s clear ESG strategy and its tangible positive impact, with the equivalent of 2.3 million plastic tampon applicators recovered from ocean through the company’s work with Plastic Bank, 449,000kg carbon offset, over 410 trees planted to date, and 93,000+ products donated to period dignity causes, including In Kind Direct and Binti Period.

Sally Tuhami, COO at TOTM commented:

“We are delighted to have been recognised as Sustainable Business of the Year. Inspiring better, more sustainable ways to manage periods is at the core of everything we do at TOTM, and this award is testament to our fantastic team, who are passionate about building a business that is a force for good, both environmentally and socially.”
