Two inspiring women leading the way in the banking sector in Wales will take part in a webinar this month aimed at encouraging girls and young women across Wales to look at the financial world as a viable and fulfilling career choice.

Khushboo Patel, Local Director, Metro Bank and Amanda Dorel, SME & Mid Corporate Regional Director, Lloyds Bank will join Chwarae Teg’s LeadHerShip Live: ‘Women Leading Banking’ to share their stories and career journeys so far.

Khushboo has over 14 years of experience in banking across the commercial and corporate sectors and more recently this has expanded to cover retail. Having undertaken various management and leadership roles, Khushboo now leads the revolution for Metro Bank in Wales. She also champions Diversity and Inclusion, taking the lead within the Bank for this area, as well as sharing thought leadership on the topic.

Amanda has enjoyed over 30 years with Lloyds Banking Group and currently leads a team of 109 Relationship Managers and Directors who have a responsibility to work with clients to help them achieve their goals.

Run by Chwarae Teg, from 5pm – 6:30pm on Wednesday 17th November, the webinar will feature careers talks, panel discussions on leadership and gender equality in the sector, together with questions from the audience.
