Housing Association Announces Executive Team Appointments

Emma Morgan and Steve Evans

Housing association Caredig has made two appointments to its Executive Team.

Steve Evans has been appointed Director for Property & Assets alongside his existing role as Deputy Chief Executive. Steve, who has worked in senior positions across the housing sector for many years, joined Caredig in 2020 and was previously the Director for Customers & Communities. Steve will be pivotal in taking forward further service improvements to provide safe, quality homes and places for tenants and communities.

Emma Morgan has been appointed as Caredig’s new Director for Customers, Support & Improvement. Emma was previously the Head of Housing and Support, and the promotion marks an important milestone in her 21 years at Caredig, showing her ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality services for tenants, the Swansea-based organisation said.

Emma Morgan said:

“I am incredibly proud to have been appointed to the role and genuinely excited to lead the next chapter, working with brilliant teams to keep making a positive difference for tenants and communities.”

Steve Evans, Director for Property and Assets, said:

“I’m really excited to be taking on this new role at such a critical time for Caredig and the wider housing sector. Providing and maintaining great homes is increasingly challenging, and I’m looking forward to working closely with colleagues and tenants to deliver reliable, high quality services that people can depend on.”

Marcia Sinfield, Chief Executive, added:

“I am delighted that Steve and Emma have been appointed to their roles. The Executive Team is now complete and reflects a pool of significant talent and experience gained from both within Caredig and the wider sector. Together with our committed Board and staff, we look forward to delivering our vision to provide great places for people to live and work.”
